Performance taken from Maximiliano Martín's new Delphian album
Clarinettist Maximiliano Martín's new album for Delphian - out on Friday - is a deeply personal album, combining French repertoire (Saint-Saëns and Poulenc) with recent works from the two places he calls home: Scotland (a piece by composer Eddie McGuire), and the Canary Islands (a work by Tenerife-born Gustavo Trujillo).
Today's beautifully-performed video is taken from one of those works: the second movement, Romanza, of Poulenc's Sonata for Clarinet and Piano, for which he's joined by Scott Mitchell on piano.
